About The Position

We are a global, data-driven e-commerce company operating multiple successful D2C brands worldwide. Our main offices are located in Tel Aviv, with teams across several global locations.

Our engineering and data teams build and operate a complex platform that supports millions of customers globally. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are investing heavily in AI-driven commerce, platform scalability, and advanced data capabilities to transform how we build products, operate brands, and serve customers.

Technology is a core strategic driver of our business, enabling rapid experimentation, data-driven decision making, and continuous innovation across our global brands.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced VP R&D to lead our technology unit and drive the next evolution of our platform and engineering capabilities.

This role will lead multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Product, Data, Infrastructure, and IT, overseeing the development and operation of our technology platform while driving major initiatives including architectural modernization and AI adoption.

As a member of the executive leadership team, you will work closely with senior leadership to align technology strategy with company goals and support the company’s continued global growth. This role is reporting to the CEO of the company

Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architecture
Define and lead the long-term technology strategy for the company’s platform and digital products
Drive the evolution of scalable, modular, and distributed architectures
Ownership of the product roadmap and close collaboration with business stakeholders to define product priorities and requirements
Ensure high standards of reliability, performance, scalability, and security
AI & Data Transformation
Lead the adoption of AI capabilities across products, workflows, and internal systems
Oversee cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and internal systems
Drive improvements in automation, observability, and operational excellence
Technology Environment
Our technology stack includes modern cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, including AWS, Microservices and modern backend/frontend platforms, Data pipelines and analytics platforms, AI and machine learning technologies

Requirements

10+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technology teams
Strong experience building and scaling cloud-native platforms and distributed systems
Experience leading major platform or architectural transformations
Experience implementing or scaling AI capabilities is a strong advantage
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
