About The Position

We are looking for a Production Manager in our Abony industry site. Our Production Manager collage ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase an organization’s efficiencies. The duties include building production schedules, making sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines and reviewing productivity.

Our Production Manager will perform tasks such as taking inventory, making supply orders, handling disputes among team members and regularly assessing safety standards in all areas. She/he will collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for the production team.

Our factory operates with 1 shift most of the year, but during events and peak time (Mother’s Day and Christmas) we use 3 shift system to maintain high productivity. In those times, the production manager will lead the second shift to ensure all shifts will be able to get the right direction.



Responsibilities

-       Control and supervision of machine departments.

-    Lead and supervise the work of shift leaders / shift change meetings and collaboration with other departments. Planning shifts according to production.

-    Manage the technical (process & equipment) topics of the department, including vendor management.

-       Handle quality related equipment.

-       Cutting Tool management (including the knowledge of state-of-the-art tools and processes)

-       Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff

-       Ensuring all health and safety standards are met.

-       Evaluating machines to ensure continued production and minimal downtime

-       Manage production schedule for on-time completion

-       Take an active role in factory production planning

-       Provide status reports to direct manager

-       Setting productivity goals for the team

-       Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff

-       Stock control.

-       Ability to coach and motivate employees


Requirements

-       2-3 years of experience in a production or product-management role

-       University or college degree in manufacturing or operations/production

-       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-       Strong project management skills

-       Proficiency with PC applications, especially excel

-       Fluent English
